A client requested a buffet for the living room area. It had to serve as a storage space for multimedia but could also be used for long-term storage. Although the customer's initial idea was to have a built-in cupboard, we came up with this design together. The proportions work well in the somewhat difficult room.

The sideboard was created to make it seem as if three low cabinets had been stacked on top of each other. This results in three rows of doors that shield fitted shelves. The shelves are height adjustable by the keep holes in the back. The cabinet was painted in a light lacquer in order to make it blend in with the rest of the interior.

I was very pleased to hear that when the homeowners moved a few years later, they decided to take the sideboard with them as they had become very attached to it.
