A closet with built-in desk fully occupies the southeast wall of the living room. The wall cabinet fills the entire height and has 15 wooden doors, six of which have been recuperated. The existing panel doors have been shortened and narrowed, while the additional doors are based on the design of the original panels.

A small door on the right adds character. The door opens onto the audio system, and as to not mute the sound, I used pivot hinges with the pivot point pointing out. This ensures that the door can remain open at all times. In the left corner, the wall cupboard is interrupted by a desk with an open bookcase. The leather covered desktop has a quilted edge. The whole has been finished with a durable matte alkyd resin lacquer.
